Debugging, debugging, and more debugging

It can feel at times that the number of errors that show up is inversely proportional to the amount of time you think you need to finish coding a program.  The less time you think you need, the more errors.

Today we worked on the final bit of code to complete the model.  Unfortunately, there were some snags and we spent a lot of our meeting debugging.  There are some kinks to work out, but small tests can be run. At the end of the day, the code is almost complete!

Over the next week we will sketch out exactly what questions we want to ask of the model and how to set the parameters and constrain the datasets such that we can can answer them.  This is quite difficult as the model is so general, excitingly so, that many questions can be asked.

I will be focusing in on examining total utility as a function of an agent's radius of concern.  What that means, is depending on the altruism and resources level of 'neighborhood' of agents how likely they are to share resources with one another and how inequalities of the utility of each agent.
