Launch Day Approaches

The launch day for the ASCEND project is this Saturday the 27th!  There will be a workshop the night before launch where we each team will be giving a presentation about their team and payload.  I am intrigued to see what different teams from around the state are working on.

Below you can see the Phoenix College team putting the final touches on the payload. The first picture show the petri dish retaining system I designed and 3D printed for the biological experiment.  On one of the side panels is the atmospheric profiling  system.  

Hopefully the launch goes smoothly and there will be plenty of data to share with you all next week.
